Play-based programs that nurture curiosity, confidence and connection — at every age.
At Adelaide Early Learning, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported and genuinely engaged.
Our programs are play-based and child-led, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). In practice, this means children are active participants in their own learning — exploring, questioning, creating and connecting at their own pace, with experienced educators alongside them every step of the way.
Learning doesn’t look like sitting still. It looks like building a tower and working out why it fell. It looks like negotiating roles in imaginative play. It looks like a child who asks ‘why’ and is met with time, attention and genuine curiosity in return.
Our nursery is a calm, nurturing space designed around the needs of babies and very young children. Through gentle, responsive care and sensory-rich play experiences, our educators support your child’s earliest development — building communication, movement, and emotional wellbeing from the very first day.
We understand that leaving your baby with someone new is a significant trust. Our nursery educators are experienced, attentive and committed to building a genuine relationship with both your child and your family — communicating openly about routines, milestones and moments throughout the day.
Toddlers are natural explorers — endlessly curious, wonderfully energetic and beginning to develop a strong sense of self. Our toddler program is designed around that energy.
Through hands-on learning, music, movement, creative play and imaginative experiences, children are supported to develop language and communication, social skills, independence and problem-solving — all in an environment that celebrates their individuality and gives them room to discover.
Our 3-year-old kindergarten program is a place where friendships begin and curiosity flourishes. Through creative, play-based learning, children are supported to develop emotional awareness, a sense of belonging, and early literacy and numeracy foundations — in an environment that feels safe, joyful and full of possibility.
Our educators bring warmth, intentionality and deep knowledge of early childhood development to every experience — ensuring each child feels genuinely known and celebrated.
Our 4-year-old kindergarten program is designed to prepare children for school — not by drilling skills in isolation, but by building the whole child.
Through play, inquiry, project-based learning and meaningful social experiences, children develop literacy, numeracy, independence and the emotional confidence to transition to school with genuine readiness. We work alongside families throughout this year to ensure the pathway forward feels supported, informed and exciting.
Our qualified, passionate educators build genuine relationships with every child — getting to know their interests, temperament and learning style so each day feels personal.
We follow a play-based, child-led curriculum that sparks curiosity, builds confidence and nurtures a genuine love of learning from the earliest age.
We invest in the Athelstone community — building strong, lasting connections with local families and the neighbourhood around us.
Our purpose-built centre is designed for exploration and discovery, with secure indoor and outdoor spaces that give children room to grow with confidence.
At Adelaide Early Learning, we believe preparing children for school means more than ticking developmental milestones. Our Positive Transition to School Roadmap is built on a genuine, ongoing partnership with local schools — so that when your child starts school, the people supporting them already understand the community context, the local environment, and what a confident, supported start looks like.
Our educators invest time in understanding the expectations of the schools our children will attend. That knowledge directly informs how we support children across the early learning years — and ensures our approach is grounded in the real world your child is transitioning into, not just a generic school readiness framework.
The Roadmap outlines the strategies we use across the kindergarten years, and how families can be active, informed participants in that journey — not just observers.
