We make enrolment simple and supportive for families.
Whether you’re just exploring your options or ready to secure a place, our team is here to guide you through every step — from your first conversation to your child settling into our Athelstone centre.
The best way to begin is to visit us. Book a personalised tour of the centre — you’ll get to see our learning environments, meet our educators and ask any questions that matter to you. Not quite ready for a tour? Reach out via phone or email and we’ll answer your questions first.
During your visit, you’ll have the chance to explore our spaces and talk through your child’s needs with our team. We’re here to listen, not to rush you. Take your time, ask everything, and let us show you what daily life at Adelaide Early Learning looks like.
When you’re ready to secure your place, we’ll guide you through all required documentation — from contact and health information to care routines and emergency contacts. We’re here to help at every step.
Welcome to our community. Your child will be introduced gently to our routines, spaces and educators, with every step supported by warmth and care.
Starting early learning is a big milestone — for children and families alike. Our orientation process is designed to ensure your child feels safe, supported and genuinely comfortable as they begin their time with Adelaide Early Learning. Once your enrolment is confirmed, we will work with you to create a personalised orientation plan that suits your child's individual needs and temperament.
Orientation may include:
• Short visits with a parent or caregiver present
• Gradually increasing time at the centre
• Opportunities to meet educators
• Explore the learning environment
Time to build familiarity with routines, spaces and peers.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Some children settle quickly, while others benefit from a slower transition — and we respect and support both.
Our educators take the time to truly get to know your child — their interests, their routines and what helps them feel settled and confident. We work closely with families throughout orientation, communicating openly and adjusting our approach as needed.
Our goal is for every child to feel secure and confident, genuinely known and understood, and comfortable forming relationships with their educators and peers.
Families are always welcome to talk with us about how their child is settling in — before, during and after the orientation period.
We welcome children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, across nursery, toddler and kindergarten programs.
We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, supporting busy working families.
Yes, all meals are freshly prepared onsite. Our menus are carefully created by a qualified chef, ensuring children enjoy balanced, nourishing meals that support their growth and development.
We follow a play-based, child-led approach guided by the Early Years Learning Framework.
Families can book a tour online to meet our team and begin the enrolment process.
Our daily fees vary depending on your child’s age and the days attended. We encourage families to book a tour so our team can walk through fees, inclusions and Child Care Subsidy (CCS) in detail — it’s much easier to explain face-to-face than on a page.
From 5 January 2026, changes to the Child Care Subsidy mean the activity test has been removed, and all eligible families will receive a minimum of three days of subsidised care per week — the 3-day guarantee. Additional subsidised hours may still apply depending on family income and circumstances.
For personalised fee information, book a tour and we’ll talk through everything in detail.
